DEMO — Reading a Look: Shape, Texture, and Contrast
Demo journal entry for validating Markdown rendering, metadata, reading time, and the table of contents. This is illustrative copy, not a personal account.
DEMO CONTENT — This sample demonstrates the journal format. It does not describe the owner’s personal experience, wardrobe, or work.
Begin with the silhouette
An editorial image can be read through its broad shapes before its individual details. Notice where the outline feels quiet, where it changes direction, and how the subject sits within the frame.
This is a general visual-reading exercise, not a review of a real outfit or a claim about a personal collection.
Notice texture and contrast
Texture gives the eye a reason to pause. A smooth surface beside a visibly woven one can create contrast without relying on a dramatic color palette.
- Shape: observe the outline and proportion.
- Texture: compare the visual surfaces.
- Contrast: note the differences in light, tone, or scale.
Keep the reference in context
